Pricing:
Our puppies are priced depending on color, pattern and gender
you are interested in. Pricing is based on "pet only" basis. This
means your new puppy will be registered with AKC "limited" and
you must sign a spay & neuter contract. I offer this as a
discounted option. Your AKC registration form will be sent to you
upon proof of alteration from your vet. However if you are
interested in FULL AKC papers please call and we may be able to
provide this service to you on selected puppies, however you
will be charged the full puppy price which is generally $200.00
more.

Full AKC:
Once again, full AKC is available to approved breeders only. You
will be charged full puppy price of $200.00 more. This needs to
be discussed prior to the deposit being placed and added into
the contract at that time otherwise you will be denied both
puppy and papers and the deposit will NOT be refunded to you
due to breech of contract. Please understand that our puppies
come first and foremost and we reserve the right to refuse sale
to anyone and at anytime.

Repeat Buyers:
If you have purchased a puppy/dog from us you will receive $50.00

Puppy Prices Include:
- First set of immunizations by our veterinarian
- Complete health examination including fecal test
- State of Florida Health Certificate
- AKC limited registration application upon proof of spay/neuter
from your vet - A puppy pack including toys, blanket with litter and mothers
scent, food, treats and any other goodies we feel your pup

The prices of our dachshunds start at $450.00 prices increase with
color, pattern, and sex. We realize that some breeders sell their
puppies for less. However, we feel it's important that you know that
our puppies are not kennel raised, but raised in our home. Our dogs
that we use for breeding all have been chosen very carefully with their
health, conformation and pedigree in mind. As we have chosen our
pets and how they would benefit us in our breeding program we have
done extensive research on them and their genetics. What each male
and female carry in order to produce colors and patterns with
conformation and health is hard to find and is much more costly than
just any dachshund picked out of a newspaper. We have flown in half
of our dachshunds from out of state reputable breeders and the other
half we have driven long distances and over night trips to pick them
up in order to achieve our goals. This means that you are getting a
much higher quality puppy and that an abundance of time and
attention has been given to your puppy way before conception.
Reds and black & tans are more common colors and can be produced
from almost any pairing where as an Isabella & Tan or Blue & Tan
needs a more precise pedigree with careful attention given to their
coat quality. Patterns are yet another pairing that needs even more
attention given to their genetics. While we do not breed English
Creams you will also see a much larger increase in their pricing due to
import fees etc. In short, all of this is kept in mind when a mating
occurs. Your new puppy was not an accident or just putting 2 dogs
together with no thought of a greater goal in mind. We take great
pride in our puppies as they are an achievement to our hard work and
effort.
If your puppy has had the right start in life as all puppies should, then
the transition from our home to yours will go very smoothly .By the
time you take your baby home, he/she is already accustomed to
people, attention, everyday noises in the home. That may not sound
like much but some puppies who are raised in a kennel are frightened
and startled at the slightest noise because they've never been in the
home environment, and they've never been exposed to home noises,
people, love, attention, cuddling, snuggling and playing. Some kennel
puppies will run from you because they don't understand what the
human hand is - some have never even been held! While I am not
saying every kennel operation runs like that it is hard to find a kennel
breeder who takes the effort in rearing their pups ideally.
On another note, we don't raise any other breeds but dachshunds. All
our breeding is monitored and there is absolutely never any cross
breeding, which could result in a very unhealthy puppy with many
flaws in appearance as well as personality.
Consider the following:

- Our dogs are healthy, tested, and vet checked at least yearly if
not biyearly. - Our dogs are always kept clean.
- Our dogs are in our home, we do not even have an outside dog
house. - Our dogs are kept busy with toys, car rides, trips to the park,
and living as a family member. - Our dogs have excellent veterinary care.
- Our puppies are hand raised, socialized, and temperament
tested. - Our puppies are vet checked with a local highly reputable vet.
- Our puppies have received required puppy vaccinations.
- Our puppies are all AKC registered.
- Our puppies are Guaranteed (in writing).
- Our puppies have a Vet health record and Vet vaccination
certificates. - We give friendly service and advice before as well as after
puppy goes home. - We supply starter food with every puppy and educational
literature. - We NEVER sell to puppy brokers. All puppies go to pre-approved
homes only. - In short – We not only care about our pups but love them
dearly.

Deposits:
- Puppies are reserved and held with a deposit and signed
contract/health guarantee. Deposits are $100.00 non-
refundable. Deposits can be paid with cash, US postal money
orders only, personal checks or with a major Credit Card
through PayPal. Once Ocean Breeze Dachshunds receives the
deposit and signed contract/health guarantee the puppy will
be marked and considered sold.
- Deposits are taken after the birth of the puppies.
- Choice of puppy is determined on a first come (deposit
received) first to choose basis. Puppy will be placed on
"pending" for four business days, while waiting for a deposit.
If deposit is not received in that time, the puppy will be placed
back up for sale.
- Deposits are NON REFUNDABLE, except in cases of illness prior
to the delivery of your puppy to you. If you change your mind
and do not want or cannot take your puppy, you forfeit your
deposit. The decision to welcome your new family member
should be well planned and thought out way before you began
looking and impulse buy.
- Buyer will pick up puppy when it is eight weeks old, or the
puppy will be shipped when it reaches 10 weeks old. There
will be a $35.00 per week boarding charge (This helps pay for
food, my time to potty train and socialize etc.) plus any other
expenses if buyer is not able to pick up puppy between 8 and
9 weeks old. Two weeks or more with no attempts to make
pick up arrangements or attempts to make plans with Ocean
Breeze Dachshunds, the buyer then forfeits the puppy and any
deposits or payments made on puppy, unless other
arrangements are made with Ocean Breeze Dachshunds.
| Final Payment: Final payment for puppies being picked up from our home at 8 weeks old must be made in cash only on the day of pick up. Puppies that will fly to their new home must be paid in full (puppy price plus shipping cost) by 6 weeks of age. No puppies will leave my home until they are paid for in full. Coming to our home:
I strongly encourage every prospective puppy buyer, or even
someone who would just like a smile to come and meet my family, 2
legged and 4 legged alike. I only ask that you DO NOT visit any other
home, breeder, or pet store before coming. I care too much for my
dogs/ pups for them to be put at risk of catching infectious diseases
such as Parvo.
Parvo is an extremely aggressive bacterial disease that can kill a
litter of healthy puppies within days.
I also encourage you to bring your children, this is an exciting family
event and see no reason for them not to be included.
