A letter to our out of area buyers >
It is our goal to have your confidence and trust. One can never
be too careful when buying a puppy or meeting a breeder, from
someone whom you have never met. I understand and greatly
appreciate your concerns as they are mutual.
My main goal in breeding is to provide a healthy & happy
Dachshund for you to love and cherish. My main fear is sending a
puppy off into a home that will one day reject his or her love and
abandon or God forbid abuse him. I want you to know from the
time the puppy is born if not sooner we will have open
communication not only through email but by phone as well. I am
an honest person and only expect the same in return. I will ask
what may seem to be personal or invasive questions regarding
your stability and knowledge of the dachshund breed. I only do
this to ensure that these puppies are going to a forever home
that will have the required patience and care to provide. On the
same note I am open to answer any questions that you may
have as well.
It is proven that a dogs first weeks of life sets the course for its
behavior and mentality throughout his life, this is why I find it of
the utmost importance to do my part in nurturing and providing
a stable loving environment within my home for each and every
puppy to then be able to adjust to your home and lead a normal
life as your companion without any puppy hood baggage. I will
update pictures weekly of the newborn puppies on my website
but also send an occasional cutesy photo of your new puppy to
you personally through email. If you'd like more ask, it's not an
inconvenience. All my dogs and puppies alike are always kept up
and I never have any thing to hide. Taking a photo takes no
more than a few minutes of finding a camera etc. Be cautious of
"breeders" who make excuses for not providing this service to
you. Often times the puppies and adult dogs are kept in horrible
conditions. There are even scammers out there who have stolen
pictures of puppies from other websites and advertised them as
their own!
We are not a business, this is my passion. We accept credit
cards for deposit by Pay Pal. We will never ask you for your credit
card numbers, information etc. Please question "breeders" who
can offer this service. It generally means they are commercial
puppy millers who sell in mass production of helpless puppies.
The only exception to this rule is that they have a legit business
other then puppies, question them! Google the business name
they give. It's often difficult to look past the adorable picture of
the sweet little puppy but you must to ensure that you are not
supporting back yard breeders or puppy millers.
In the end my goal is for you to have a special, well bred and
loving puppy, that will grow up and mature to be your life long
companion. Whether that puppy came from me is not of
importance but the more people buying from unscrupulous
people then the more these people will profit and continue to
breed undesirable, sick puppies.
